Why should I rent instead of buy?

Rental is not an alternative to a sale, It is for short term requirements where the equipment will be redundant after the initial  application and where it is not feasible to 'borrow' equipment from elsewhere in your organization. 

Is rental cheaper than buying?

Not in the longer term, If you propose to use the same equipment for around 12 months or more, then rental is not cost effective. In the  short term however it certainly can be more cost effective.

Is it cheaper than leasing?

Renting is not cheaper than leasing. However leasing is a long term commitment - typically 3 to 5 years. In which time equipment may become out-dated, Renting allows you to update as and when it is necessary.

What happens if the equipment fails?

Rental is always covered by maintenance, You can take out a site maintenance contract or return it to us for repair.

Can I buy the equipment after the rental term?

Not always. Because of the nature of the computer business, quite often the market value of the product is lower than it is worth to Quest. You may of  course still wish to purchase at a higher than MV price to avoid the disruption to your business of changing equipment. We will offer advice as to the best option

Is rental as simple as that?

Almost, the important thing about rental is that it is a service and that the expectations of the customer must be accurately set and met.  It is therefore dangerous to make assumptions about what can and cannot be offered. The safest option is to involve an experienced Quest Rentals salesperson who will work with you to find the best solution.
